SalesJuice Terms of Service
Last updated 20 October 2026
1. About these terms
1.1 These terms are an agreement between you, the business that installs SalesJuice on a Shopify store (“you”), and AIOOM SOLUTIONS LLC, a limited liability company at 228 Park Ave S, #897446, New York, NY 10003, United States (“SalesJuice”, “we”, “us”).
1.2 You accept these terms when you install or use the app. If you install it for a business, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that business.
1.3 SalesJuice is a tool for businesses. It is not offered to consumers.
1.4 Shopify. The app runs on Shopify and works within Shopify’s checkout and billing. It never replaces or bypasses them. Shopify’s own terms and policies continue to govern your Shopify store and your use of Shopify. Shopify is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for the app.
1.5 Related documents. These terms include:
- the Privacy Policy, which says what information the app handles, why, where and for how long;
- the Data Processing Agreement (“DPA”), which covers the personal data about your shoppers that we process for you. If it conflicts with these terms on personal data, the DPA wins;
- the Founding Offer terms, if your store takes that offer.
Each is published on www.salesjuice.app.
2. Words used in these terms
- The app or the service: SalesJuice. That means its screens in your Shopify admin, its theme app extension (app embeds and app blocks), its web pixel, its discount functions, and the servers behind them.
- Promotion: a discount rule you create in the app.
- Shopper: a person who visits or buys from your store.
- Storefront display: the offer bar and panel, badges, promotion cards and tier tables the app shows on your storefront.
- Measurement: the optional comparison described in 3.5.
3. What the app does
3.1 You build promotions. Each promotion is a reward and the conditions for getting it.
- Rewards include a percentage or fixed amount off, a free gift, free or discounted shipping, buy X get Y, and quantity tiers.
- Conditions include who the customer is (tags, segments, order history, amount spent, or customers you name), what is in the cart, and dates.
You can run a promotion as an automatic discount or with a code, set usage limits, group promotions into campaigns, and set which promotion wins when several could apply.
3.2 Shopify’s checkout applies the discount. The app turns each live promotion into Shopify discounts backed by the app’s discount functions, which Shopify runs at checkout. The app never changes your product or variant prices.
3.3 The storefront display shows your offers. You choose where, by switching on the app’s embeds and placing its blocks in Shopify’s theme editor. The app writes no theme files.
3.4 The app keeps usage limits. Shopify has no usage limit for automatic discounts, so the app counts uses from your orders, and checkout reads that count. A limit per customer applies to signed-in customers. A guest cannot use a promotion that has one, and is asked to sign in.
3.5 Analytics and measurement. The Analytics screens report what the app sees in your orders. You can also switch on the measurement, which compares shoppers who see the storefront display with shoppers who do not. While it runs:
- about one shopper in five who allows analytics is shown no storefront display;
- those shoppers still receive, at checkout, every automatic discount they qualify for;
- the exception: if a promotion needs a code and the storefront display is where shoppers see that code, those shoppers are not shown it and cannot use it. While such a promotion runs, the app does not report the comparison for your store;
- shoppers who have not allowed analytics are not part of the measurement and see your store as usual.
You can switch the measurement off at any time.
4. What the app does not do
4.1 Checkout is Shopify’s. Shopify calculates the final price, runs checkout, takes payment, and applies its own rules when more than one discount could apply. The storefront display is built from the same promotion that checkout applies. If the two ever differ, the shopper pays what Shopify’s checkout calculates.
4.2 Discount functions have limits. Shopify limits how much work a discount function may do for one cart. In a very large cart, or for a signed-in customer whose promotions depend on a long order history, Shopify can stop the function, and then no SalesJuice discount applies to that cart.
4.3 Usage counts take a moment to reach checkout. The app counts each use shortly after the order is placed. Orders placed at almost the same moment can therefore go past a usage limit.
4.4 No promise of results. The app does not promise more sales, larger orders, more profit or any other outcome.
4.5 Measurement results are estimates. The Analytics screens show where the real figure most likely lies, as a range, and say when there is not yet enough traffic for a clear answer. How long that lasts depends on how many orders the store takes: on a smaller store it can last a year or more, or for as long as the store stays that size. Profit figures depend on the costs you enter. Do not use them as accounting or tax figures.
4.6 No legal, tax or accounting advice. Nothing in the app tells you whether a promotion is lawful where you sell.
4.7 Not every theme or app. The storefront display is tested on Shopify’s Dawn and Horizon themes. Other themes, and other apps on your storefront, can change how it looks or works. We help through support (7.4), but we cannot promise it works with every theme or app.
4.8 Not a consent tool. The app does not ask shoppers for consent. Its pixel and its measurement follow the consent choices Shopify records for your store.
5. Your responsibilities
5.1 Your promotions. You decide every promotion: its reward, who qualifies, its dates, its limits and whether it appears on your storefront. Check each promotion before it goes live. The app’s preview link shows your storefront as a shopper would see it. You are responsible for honouring the offers you advertise.
5.2 Your prices and the law. You are responsible for making sure your prices and promotions comply with the laws where you sell, including consumer protection, price display, advertising, anti-discrimination and tax law.
5.3 Your customer tags and segments. The tags and segments you use in conditions are your choice. A signed-in customer can read their own eligibility profile, which includes their tags. Do not use a tag you would not want that customer to see. Never put sensitive information in a tag, such as health, religion or ethnicity.
5.4 Your storefront theme. You place the app’s embeds and blocks, and you check how they look on your theme. If something looks wrong, you can switch the display off in the theme editor. Your discounts keep applying at checkout.
5.5 Your shoppers’ consent and your privacy notice.
- You run the consent banner for the regions you sell to, through Shopify’s privacy settings or a consent app. The app relies on the choices it records.
- Your own privacy notice must tell shoppers how your store uses apps such as SalesJuice. The Privacy Policy and the DPA give the details, including the measurement.
5.6 Your staff. You decide which of your staff can use the app, and you are responsible for what they do in it.
5.7 Shoppers’ requests about their data. Shoppers send requests to you, not to us. You pass them to us through Shopify, and we help as the Privacy Policy and the DPA describe.
6. Plans, fees and billing
6.1 Plans.
| Plan | Price | What it includes |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | Every feature. Up to 2 promotions active or scheduled at the same time. |
| Standard, monthly | $49.99 a month | Every feature. No limit on promotions. |
| Standard, yearly | $499.99 a year | Every feature. No limit on promotions. |
Prices are in US dollars and do not include any tax Shopify adds.
6.2 Billing goes through Shopify only. Shopify charges your plan on your Shopify bill. We never ask for your payment details. If you open the app without a plan, it sends you to Shopify’s plan page for the app.
6.3 Only the store owner can approve a plan. An approval by a collaborator or staff account does not start a subscription.
6.4 Free trial. Standard comes with a 14-day free trial, monthly or yearly. When the trial ends, Shopify starts charging the plan’s price unless you have moved to Free or uninstalled the app. Shopify decides whether a store that has already had a trial gets another one.
6.5 Changing plans. You change plans on Shopify’s plan page. The old subscription ends and the new one starts at the same moment. Shopify applies any credit under its own billing rules. To stop paying, move to Free or uninstall the app.
6.6 Moving to Free. Nothing is switched off. Every promotion already active or scheduled keeps running, however many there are. A new promotion cannot go live until fewer than 2 are active or scheduled.
6.7 Refunds. Fees are not refundable, except as described in 11.5 or where the law requires a refund. Any refund is made through Shopify.
6.8 Price changes. We give at least 30 days’ notice before a price change affects your subscription.
6.9 Founding offer. If your store takes the founding offer, its own terms apply alongside these. The offer never depends on leaving a review.
7. Availability, changes and support
7.1 No uptime commitment. We work to keep the app available, but we do not promise any uptime figure or offer service credits.
7.2 What the app depends on. The app runs on Shopify and on our hosting provider, Gadget. When either has an outage, the app may not work.
- Discounts that are already live are applied by Shopify at checkout, from data saved in your store. A short outage of our servers does not stop them on its own.
- Changes you make, scheduled starts and ends, usage counts and analytics may be delayed until our servers recover.
7.3 Changes to the app. We improve the app, and we may change, add or remove features. If we remove a feature your paid plan includes, we tell you first (15.2).
7.4 Support. Write to support@salesjuice.app. We reply within one business day. A reply is not always a fix, and some fixes take longer.
7.5 What support asks for. Support may ask for your store’s address, the promotion’s name and a screenshot. It never asks for a shopper’s name, email or order details, or for your admin password. If a problem cannot be seen from your storefront, support may ask for collaborator access with the fewest permissions that do the job, and gives it up when done.
7.6 The check after install. While we offer it, we look at your storefront as a shopper would within 24 hours of your install, to check that your offers show. If your store is password-protected, we check it once it opens. If something looks wrong, we write to you.
8. Data
8.1 The Privacy Policy describes what information the app handles, why, where and for how long.
8.2 For personal data about your shoppers, you decide why and how it is used, and we process it for you to provide the app. The DPA governs that processing.
8.3 We do not sell data. We do not use your shoppers’ data for advertising, for any store but yours, or to train AI models.
8.4 We use the dates the Privacy Policy lists about how your store uses the app, such as when your first promotion went live, to support you and improve the app. They identify no shopper and are never shared.
8.5 Some data lives in your own Shopify store, not on our servers: the promotion settings and customer eligibility profiles the app saves as metafields. Section 11.2 says what happens to them when you uninstall.
9. Intellectual property
9.1 Ours. We own the app, its code, extensions, design and documentation, and the SalesJuice name and logo. While these terms apply and the app is installed, we give you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app for your store.
9.2 Yours. You own your promotions, your content and your store’s data. You give us the right to store, copy, process and display them only to provide the app to you, and as the DPA allows.
9.3 Feedback. If you send us ideas or suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything.
9.4 Shopify’s names and marks belong to Shopify.
10. Acceptable use
10.1 You must not:
- use the app to break the law, or to mislead shoppers, for example by advertising an offer you do not intend to honour;
- use the app to bypass Shopify’s checkout or payment processing;
- try to reach another store’s data, or test, probe or attack the app’s servers, its storefront routes or its pixel endpoint;
- send false or automated data to the app’s storefront routes or pixel endpoint;
- copy, modify, resell or sublicense the app, or reverse-engineer it except where the law allows;
- use the app on a store you do not own or are not authorised to manage;
- put sensitive personal data in promotion names, customer tags or conditions.
10.2 If you find a security problem, tell us at support@salesjuice.app, with “Security” in the subject.
11. Suspension and ending the service
11.1 You can stop at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin. Uninstalling ends the service and your subscription.
11.2 What happens when you uninstall.
- At once: Shopify removes the app’s access to your store. The app’s discounts stop applying and its storefront display stops showing.
- Two days later: Shopify asks us to erase your store’s data. We erase your promotions, campaigns, settings and their change history, the copies of your catalogue, customers and orders, your analytics totals, and every pending change and session. Each day the app also lists stores uninstalled more than two days earlier whose erasure has not run, and we erase those by hand. After the erasure nothing can be restored, and a reinstall starts empty.
- What remains: a short record of your store and of the privacy requests Shopify sent us, as the Privacy Policy describes. Logs and backups held by our hosting provider expire within 14 days.
- Metafields in your own Shopify store stay there, under your control, and the app can no longer reach them. If you want them removed, write to us before you uninstall and we will remove them. If you reinstall, the app rewrites its promotion settings to match what it then holds.
- Before you go: you can download the Analytics figures as CSV files. Promotions cannot be exported.
11.3 We may suspend your use of the app if we must, to protect your store, other stores, shoppers or the app, to comply with the law or Shopify’s requirements, or because you broke section 10. We tell you why, unless the law stops us.
11.4 We may end the service for your store at once if you seriously break these terms.
11.5 We may end the service for every store with at least 60 days’ notice. If you paid for a yearly plan, we refund the unused part of that year through Shopify.
11.6 Sections 4, 9, 11.2, 12, 13, 14, 16 and 17 continue after the service ends.
12. Disclaimers
12.1 The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty that is not written in these terms, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
12.2 In particular, we do not promise that:
- the app will be uninterrupted or free of errors;
- every discount will apply in every cart (4.2, 4.3);
- the storefront display will work with every theme or app (4.7);
- the measurement’s estimates will match what actually happened (4.5).
13. Limitation of liability
13.1 Neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost profit, revenue, sales or goodwill.
13.2 We are not liable for the value of discounts applied at your checkout, whether or not you intended them. You set every promotion and can switch any of them off at any time.
13.3 Our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$100.
13.4 Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as liability for fraud.
14. Indemnity
14.1 You will defend us against, and pay for, claims by third parties (including shoppers and authorities) that arise from your promotions, your prices, your store, your breach of these terms, or an instruction you gave us under the DPA that broke the law.
15. Changes to these terms
15.1 We may change these terms. We give at least 30 days’ notice before a change that matters to you takes effect. A change required by law or by Shopify may take effect sooner.
15.2 We tell you by email to your store’s contact address, and we post the new version on www.salesjuice.app with its date.
15.3 If you do not agree to a change, uninstall the app before it takes effect. If you keep using the app after that, you accept the new terms.
16. Governing law and disputes
16.1 These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
16.2 Disputes go to the state and federal courts located in New York County, New York.
16.3 Before starting any claim, write to us at support@salesjuice.app and give us 30 days to try to resolve it.
17. General
17.1 Whole agreement. These terms, the Privacy Policy, the DPA and, if it applies, the Founding Offer terms are the whole agreement between us about the app.
17.2 Transfer. We may transfer these terms to a business that takes over the app, and we tell you if we do. You may not transfer them without our written agreement.
17.3 Events outside our control. We are not liable for a failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, including outages at Shopify, Gadget or Google Cloud.
17.4 Severability and waiver. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term at once, we can still enforce it later.
17.5 Notices. We send notices to your store’s contact address. You send notices to us at support@salesjuice.app, or by post to the address in section 18.
17.6 No third-party rights. Only you and we can enforce these terms.
17.7 Language. These terms are written in English, and the English version governs.
